%X  The study of anatomical structure of pericarp in  Gladiolus imbricatus  reveals that this species has a capsule of  Lilium -type, with effective mechanism of dehiscence. While  Iris sibiriса  has a capsule of  Galanthus -type with reduced mechanism of dehiscence.
